Noted daring journalist, friendly plus humane too S Shyamprasad, entertainment editor of Bengaluru Mirror has moved a long way from the days of ‘Shanthi Kranthi’ to ‘Parapancha’.

When Shyamprasad was a school kid he was one among the 500 children faced camera for magnum opus of V Ravichandran ‘Shanthi Kranthi’. He grew up with varied interest and according to his name ‘Shyam’ he is in the ‘Sham’ (evening) scene in ‘Parapancha’ Kannada cinema.

Shyamprasad was invited on dais to sit with actors and technicians on Saturday night for audio release of ‘Parapancha’. ‘I am not a professional actor’ he stated and came for the audio release time on the stage on continuous persistence from Yogaraj Bhat and Ragini Dwivedi.

Shyamprasad is known in the judiciary circles for picking unique subjects and in cinema field his reviews, interviews, special stories are remarkable. Before leap in to cinema journalism Shyamprasad was Editor of education magazines.

As a writer he proved his talent in ‘Gharshane’. He had written dialogues and his association continued for a few more films.

What is his role in ‘Parapancha’? He is given a table and no one around. He does not take part in the song ‘Health important…Hotte Nodkolli… while all others in ‘Parapancha’ Veg N Non Veg hotel are rejoicing.
